Well, this here be AltQQ – a gaming and geekery website filled (well, not yet) with articles and good reads. AltQQ consists of three core members based in sunny ol’ England. These three crude dudes, these team buddies, this league of legendary gents consists of Dale, Mark, and Ronnie. Here’s a little about us.
Why the dumb name?
Well, there was no need to be rude. The name is the full-length form of QQ, which – contrary to popular belief – means to ‘rage quit.’ Don’t believe us? Load up a Starcraft or Warcraft (not the MMO) game and hit ALT+QQ and it’ll boot you out the game. You learn something new every day here, eh? You’re welcome.
There’s loads of game review sites. You think you can compete?
No, it’s not our aim to compete. In the same way that the three of us read multiple news sites for our industry news, we are but another option for gaming articles and stories. It isn’t a case of competing, but rather something we do because it’s fun and we enjoy it!
Hopefully that gives you some insight into us as a group. If you’re interested in reading more about each of us individually, well…. you’re crazy, but you can if you want.
